Gayle Deadwyler is one of the many Health Care Partners at the Cleveland Clinic who are invited to re-imagine and transform the delivery of healthcare. As a volunteer, she has served on councils including the Office of Bioethics at South Pointe hospital, provided valuable input to an applications development team in Information Technology, re-imagined Geriatrics into the Successful Aging program and is currently partnering with Taussig Cancer Institute to close the gap between the satisfaction rates of African American patients and their white counterparts.
She has been and continues to be a strong advocate for older Americans. Gayle is a sought after speaker and panelist and she was the recipient of the 2018 Dr. Anthony “Tony” Thomas Jr award for her lecture on Empathy and Valuing every Person.
