What role do patients currently play and what role could they play in a healthcare system focused on delivering personalized care and outcomes based on financial incentives? In almost every other sector of the economy, solutions are built from the end user upwards. Tesla, Amazon, Apple all start with what the consumer wants. Yet in healthcare, more often than not, we deliver a solution and expect the patient to follow it. To change this, we must change the culture. No technology and no new service will create the change.
In this session, we hear from three patient innovators who will share their stories and discuss what’s required to transition patients from feeling like numbers to feeling like people again.
