An accomplished health care leader with extensive expertise in physical rehabilitation, performance improvement, quality assurance projects and international and national hospital accreditation, an advocate of patient experience and  patient centered care. Currently is the assistant director of rehabilitation department, oversees specialty programs clinical services development at Sultan bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia which is one of the largest rehabilitation centers in the middle east.

Lamia holds a MSc. In Neurorehabilitation and as  a trained physical therapist has experience in neurorehabilitation with specific interest in Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury, and Degenerative Disorders.
