Karen is the Executive Director for Enterprise Access operations and technology at Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH). In this role, Karen leads the strategy, operations, and technology for how patients and providers navigate care across the large and diverse PSJH health system. This work has included the creation of a Patient Engagement Center with high-touch concierge services, and a consumer engagement platform with technology such as a robust enterprise provider directory and a CRM system to manage a 365 degree view of consumers.
In this session, we’ll hear how Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH) created a Patient Engagement Center and developed a Consumer Engagement Platform to engage with the patients and improve care delivery. Patient navigation is increasingly complex for consumers with the rise of new care offerings such as virtual care, retail clinics, and finding the right specialty care and services. PSJH has addressed this challenge with a multi-channel approach including a technology/digital platform and human concierge services.
