Telemedicine continues to offer dynamic possibilities to provide our care everywhere. e-Hospital caregivers impact the lives of our patients and caregivers from one central location offering consultative services, infection prevention, and quality assurance. e-CMU allows for secondary monitoring of all of our patients on continuous hemodynamic monitoring across the health system to be monitored in one care area. It also has overcome the alarm fatigue typically experienced in “war rooms” through an innovative algorithm that identifies patients most likely to have an event.
