Andrea L. Sikon, MD, F.A.C.P. is the Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at the Cleveland Clinic and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.  She has her graduate certificate in executive and professional coaching with additional certification through the International Coaching Federation and is the founding director of the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Excellence in Coaching and Mentoring (CECM).

Dr. Sikon has presented nationally on novel ways to view professional development across the career continuum. In 2017, she was the 2nd recipient of Cleveland Clinic’s Women’s Professional Staff Association Champion Award, recognized for her longstanding contributions to the advancement, development and wellbeing of the women’s professional Staff. She also received the Society of General Internal Medicine Midwest Region Leadership Award in recognition of mid and senior-level SGIM members with outstanding leadership both locally and nationally in 2017. 

In addition to her work with the CECM and professional development, Dr. Sikon works to bring the concepts of the Patient Centered Medical Home to life bridged with optimizing the workplace for caregivers, through work in practice transformation. Clinically, Dr. Sikon is also a North American Certified Menopause Practitioner, practicing in both Internal Medicine and the Center for Specialized Women's Health with clinical interests in Women's Health, osteoporosis, menopause, diabetes and cardiovascular disease management.
