Abdullah Bin Zarah has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Japan and is a certified Black Belt in Six Sigma in Management and Strategic Performance Enhancement.

He has over 25 years of service in Government, private sectors and in non-profit sectors and participated in the development of several strategic plans and turnarounds for wide range of industries especially in health care.

He joined Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City as CEO since 2012.  He is currently the chairman of the Strategic Planning and the Executive Committees.

Patient experience practice was created early 2018 as one of the leading healthcare organization to adopt and promote a positive and engaging Patient Experience in the Kingdom. Collaboration with International Organizations such as Cleveland Clinic was also established. The City received numerous excellence awards thus enabling it to be acknowledged internationally under his leadership. Bin Zarah, created the First International Rehab Excellence Awards categories.

In addition, he established the Center of Excellence in advanced surgery which is currently considered the largest provider of orthopedic and arthoplasty procedures in the Middle East. Significant contributions to ensure the City’s continuous commitment in providing high quality of care, and implementation of both national and international standards such as Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), (JCIA), and (CARF) and others.
