Music by Kent Collier (Cello) and Gayle Getts (Flute)
Gayle Getts has been the musician-in-residence of The Cleveland Clinic for over 10 years and also performs weekly at the Metro General Health Centers. She carries a full private teaching schedule at the Aurora School of Music, as well as Laurel School. In 2015, she joined the staff at John Carroll University as an adjunct faculty member, conducting the Wind Ensemble. She has performed with the Blossom Festival Band, Cleveland Symphonic Winds and the Sounds of Sousa Band.
Kent Collier has enjoyed being a member Cleveland's freelance musician community for 35 years. A native Clevelander, Kent has been principal cellist for Cleveland Opera, Cleveland Ballet, Ohio Chamber Orchestra, and Lyric Opera for over twenty years. Most recently he has served as principal cellist with The Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Red an Orchestra, Blossom Festival Orchestra, Opera Circle, and Blue Water Chamber Orchestra. He has been a cello instructor at Allegheny College and Baldwin Wallace Conservatory. Kent has recently joined the Arts in Medicine program at both Metro Health and The Cleveland Clinic.
