To better support the needs of clinicians and meet the demands of a rapidly changing healthcare technology landscape, the Cleveland Clinic recognized the need to transform the way its technology division worked and delivered services. To this end, it greatly improved team dynamics by leveraging unique practices such as having teams create social contracts, participate in retrospectives every two weeks, and plan their work and deliverables collectively as a group.
This session will explain how such collaborations and cohesion on teams has not only improved employee satisfaction, but also created empowered teams where everyone feels a sense of shared accountability and supports each other in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
