Good communication skills have been shown to help medical practitioners improve reflective listening skills, empathy, teaching, time management and conflict resolution. R.E.D.E to Communicate®: Foundations of Healthcare Communication course is the foundational course in the program and is a required prerequisite for the advanced topic courses. This course teaches commonly effective tools and a model of communication as well as allowing participants the ability to practice its implementation.
