Call for Abstracts

The 2015 Patient Experience: Empathy + Innovations Summit is pleased to welcome abstract submissions for consideration. Abstracts should describe an established best practice, developing program or research project which enhances or explores patient or employee experience.

Guidelines

Abstracts should align with the themes and tracks of the Summit and are welcomed from a variety of professional disciplines. Abstracts with established outcomes will be given highest priority. Topics include:

  • Foundations for Patient Experience Improvements
  • Patient Engagement
  • Tactical Improvements in Patient Experience
  • Physician Engagement
  • Patient Experience Data & Metrics
  • Creating a Culture to Support Patient Experience
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Other

Submit your abstract by completing the online submission form on this page.

All submissions will be reviewed by a blinded review panel. Submissions that focus on vendor solutions or consulting services will not be considered.

Submission deadline

Submissions must be received no later than January 31, 2015. Submitters will be notified of acceptance by February 28, 2015 via email from PESummit@ccf.org.

If your abstract is accepted, please note the following:

  • Authors of accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to submit a poster for display at the 2015 Patient Experience: Empathy + Innovation Summit.
  • All authors will be included in the Summit program book distributed to all attendees.
  • Abstract may be published in the Association for Patient Experience (AfPE) newsletter.
  • Abstracts may be posted on the Cleveland Clinic Office of Patient Experience website and the AfPE website.
  • Authors will not receive discounts on the Summit registration fee.
